Melissa Bates of Grass Roots Pond & Garden and Denise Marsack of DWH Garden Services, both business owners in New Boston, decided that it was high time for a garden club in our township. Both businesses served many clients with beautiful properties, knew of other passionate gardeners, and desired to beautify our town.

After a few years of mulling it over, a call was made on Facebook and other residents responded! Clients, friends, and neighbors joined to become more active.

To date (May 2026), we have weeded and planted the gardens at the Sam Adams historic house, donated a basket to the second annual Eat, Drink, and Buy Local citywide garage sale, and are planning our first annual garden walk.
